Celebrating a decade of Italian craftsmanship and design: Artemest presents the third edition of L’Appartamento at Milan Design Week 2025

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Artemest, the destination offering unrivalled access to the world of Italian craftsmanship and design, announces the third edition of L’Appartamento by Artemest. Set during Milan Design Week 2025, the milestone exhibition celebrates the timeless allure of Italian craftsmanship and design through the lens of globally renowned design talents in an exclusive venue that will open its doors to the public for the first time.

This year’s edition will unfold within Palazzo Donizetti, a 19th – century architectural masterpiece located in Via Gaetano Donizetti 48. Opening its doors to the public for the first time, the palazzo seamlessly captures the essence of Italy’s timeless refinement and embodies an eclectic fusion of architectural styles—Renaissance grace, Baroque opulence, and the delicate allure of Liberty. The interiors boast high ceilings, beautifully detailed frescoes, and a monumental elliptical staircase with an elegant wrought-iron balustrade that connects the palazzo’s three floors.

Inside, six internationally acclaimed interior design studios— 1508 London, Champalimaud Design, Meyer Davis, Nebras Aljoaib, Romanek Design Studio and Simone Haag—will each transform a distinct room, showcasing an extraordinary selection of furniture, lighting, home décor and art from Artemest’s finest artisans, brands, and artists. Together, they will craft spaces that exemplify the beauty, uniqueness, and creativity of Italian craftsmanship and design.

Visitors will ascend the palazzos’ monumental elliptical staircase to explore the reimagined interiors. Highlights include:

  • The Entertainment Room by 1508 London: A reinterpretation of the 19th-century salon as an eclectic space inspired by the most prestigious members’ club and designed to foster connections and creativity.

  • The Bedroom by Champalimaud Design: An artistic retreat where colourful glass, contemporary sculptures, and hand painted wallpapers create a new world of elegance.

  • The Grand Salon by Meyer Davis: A living room that embodies allure and seduction, a space suspended between ancient myth and contemporary design.

  • The Reading Room & Studio by Nebras Aljoaib: A refined and inviting space that merges classical architecture with bold, modern designs.

  • The Dining Room by Romanek Design Studio: The grandeur of convivial Italian gatherings expressed by a dynamic mix of textures and materials to create a sophisticated atmosphere.

  • The Foyer by Simone Haag: An elegant prelude to the experience, where natural textures meet bold compositions, and colourful accents stand in perfect harmony with the palazzo’s original charm.

With its unique setting and compelling curation featuring over 180 Italian artisans and artists, the third edition of L’Appartemento by Artemest promises to captivate visitors, offering a multi-sensory experience that highlights the unparalleled craftsmanship and vision of Italy’s finest makers.
